Granville serves up tasty toasties to his customers. Encouraged by Eric and Cyril, Mr Newbold continues his pursuit of Mrs Rossi. Leroy and Willis meet up with Beth and Ruby and the Black Widow has a makeover.

Granville is selling 'lucky' toy sloths. The Black Widow is learning to drive. Kath and the ladies are organising a bring and buy sale for charity featuring Eric's clothes. Willis goes on a date with Ruby. Is romance blossoming for Madge?

Granville encourages Gastric to become a fearless hunter in an effort to impress Madge. Mavis stands up to The Black Widow hen she senses she is after Granville. Eric and Cyril finally get their wives to go camping.

Granville creates a blend of snuff, but will his customers notice any effects? Mr Newbold finds a pastime to share with Mrs Rossi and a determined Mrs Featherstone enlists Granville and Leroy to teach her how to ride a bicycle.

Gastric spends the night at Madge's house. Granville takes delivery of a bargain consignment from Spain, not knowing what it actually is. Eric and Cyril fall out over a lost compass. Mr Newbold goes on a boat trip with Mrs Rossi.

Arkwright is long dead and Granville now runs the shop with his daft son Leroy, the result of a one night stand in Blackpool. Granville has inherited his uncle's parsimony, trying to sell nappy rash cream as a body building aid whilst the handsome boy is a hit with the female customers. Granville would like to get back with old flame Mavis, now back on the market, but she is guarded by her fearsome sister Madge though Mrs Featherstone, the one time Black Widow, is extremely interested in a dalliance with Granville - unlike retired nurse Gladys, who is no more interested in Granville than she was in his uncle.
